Welcome

What an amazing journey we get to go on together this year! You will not believe how much your child will grow in first grade; it is truly amazing to see their progress!  We have so much planned and I cannot wait to hit the ground running!  I am very excited to get to know you and your family!  We are going to work really hard, but we are also going to have a lot of fun!

A Little About Me

This is my fourth year teaching at Dundee.  I love this school and the neighborhood.  There is truly something special about this school, our staff, and our students.  I feel so grateful every day that I get to teach alongside such amazing individuals and get to work with such proactive and involved families.  A little about me; I grew up in the Air Force (my father is a retired Colonel), so I have lived and traveled all over,   I actually moved to Omaha from Fairbanks, Alaska. I was lucky enough to marry my best friend, Clark, in June of 2015.  We have a seven year old Maltese, named "Milk" short for Harvey Milk, who hides my socks from me every morning and is terrified of cats and a seven month old Wheaten Terrier named Daisy, who definitely thinks she is a lap dog.  I attended the University of Nebraska for my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Doane University for my graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction.   Music, art and travel are big passions of mine; I love to go to shows, new exhibits, and explore new places.
